Ngauranga to Airport Corridor Plan campaign

The Plan considers how Wellington will provide for Wellington’s transport needs over the next 20 years. Light rail or a rapid public transit system, bus lanes, initiatives for walking and cycling, scheme assessments for two new tunnels at The Terrace and Mt Victoria tunnel are all up for discussion. Submissions on the Plan closed in July 2008.

Part of the proposal is now a massive concrete flyover across the northern frontage of the Basin Reserve, even though public consultation showed 79 per cent opposition . Help us stop this development!.
