Rongotai
The Rongotai electorate comprises the southern and eastern communities of Wellington city including Island Bay, Lyall Bay, all of the Miramar peninsula, Hataitai, Kilbirnie and Newtown (south of Mein Street). The electorate also includes Chatham Island and Pitt Island.

Wellington City Wards
Wards are areas for Wellington City Council elections. Eastern Ward is represented by three Councillors.
Rongotai electorate includes the whole of the Eastern Ward, and the eastern parts of Lambton and Southern Wards including Mt Victoria, Newtown, Berhampore and Island Bay (see map below).
